Help students structure their compare-contrast understanding of the significant social movements of the 1960s and 1970s. The chart is structured to aid students in thinking about six major civil rights movements (including the environmental movement). With each movement, students can fill in information in relation to such key information as accomplishments of the movement to the strategies used to create change; five categories are given to analyze each movement with in an effort to create a comprehensive understanding. Using this chart aids students in understanding the significant change that America was undergoing in this tumultuous time period.
