Product Description
Engage your students in exploring the various means by which Americans sought to end slavery leading up to the Civil War and the diversity of the abolitionist movement. This webquest (includes a provided Trackstar 4 Teachers, with recommended webpages for students) has students finding specific examples for several different methods, such as violence and literature, of combatting slavery. Once students have completed their comparison, a reflection prompt allows students the chance to make a decision about which method was best.
Lesson includes the lesson plan, student chart, student reflection prompt and rubric, as well as a sample completed chart for teacher usage.
