Great activity for Primary Measurement Math Unit
This is a printable worksheet to be used with a measurement center. You will need balances, and random items. I use toys from my classroom, glue bottles, books, etc. I try to find varying weights. I have used this during math centers, with small groups of 4-5 students. If possible, I like to have a parent volunteer monitor this center. Kids will put two objects on the balance, observing which is heavier and lighter. Then they will draw the objects onto the worksheet in the appropriate place.
