Product Description
This is a 1-2 day mini-project. Students will compare the parts of a cell and correlate them to something they know well (i.e. school, city, etc.) The lesson reviews the role of cell organelles. This download includes PowerPoint notes (including procedure) and corresponding mini-project worksheets.

**This product is included in the following larger unit: “5 Day Mini-Unit on Cells plus Review Task Cards“ & “Characteristics of Life and Introduction to Cells Comprehensive Packet.” Please double-check your purchases to ensure that you don't buy the same lesson twice. Thanks!**

The files are PowerPoint 2007 and PDFs in a zip file. The PowerPoint slides are compatible with Windows 7/Power Point 2007 or later. PowerPoint slides and worksheets are broken down by subject/day to help with flexibility in teaching. Packet is appropriate for 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and homeschool students.

While this download is designed to be turn-key with minimal changes, please keep in mind that all schools are different regarding standards focus, class-period time, etc. If you have questions, concerns, or catch a typo (hopefully not!), please feel free to contact us at thescienceshoppe@gmail.com.
