Product Description
The delegates in Philadelphia created a WEAK national government under the Articles of Confederation. Americans remembered the rule under Great Britain and its King. They wanted to make sure that the new United States did not face the same problems, so as delegates wrote the Articles of Confederation, they looked back at the grievances that had been listed in the Declaration of Independence. This activity has the students apply the grievances in the Declaration of Independence to the Articles of Confederation.
