I saw a photo that sparked this idea on the local news. It was a photo sent in by a viewer of two wagon wheels in the snow, they were overlapping just a little bit. And that is where the idea started - a Venn Diagram with separations from the spokes.
This can be a good way to help students compare two things. It can also be a little bit of a challenge trying to come up with things to fill all the spaces. This is a great worksheet for science or also for brainstorming a writing activity. There are a great many uses for this worksheet.
I included an example page of a comparison we did between birds and fish. We were talking about living things and compared them based what living things do. Then, we contrasted them based on how they move and their appearance.
