Comparisons-As + As Decoder Box Worksheet-ESL Fun Games
Try out our Comparisons-As + As Decoder Box Worksheet.
This is a two-page decoding puzzle worksheet.
Each worksheet has a total of thirty-five words written in code, a decoding box, sentence clues, a word bank and an answer key.
How to Use It:
Students will use words written in code, hints in the decoder, sentence clues and words in the word bank to help break the code. The letters in the top portion of the box will be the correct letters and the letters in the bottom portion are the code. Once the code is cracked for each letter students can write the correct words on the lines provided next to the code words.
These puzzles can be printed and handed out to students in the class. They also work great for extra homework practice.
Save on printing costs by sending the worksheets electronically and have your students fill them in with a PDF editing program or by projecting the puzzle and having students write down the answers in their notebooks.
Use our board and card games or other worksheets and exams as complementary activities for this worksheet.
