Aligned to TEKS 7.6a and Common Core State Standards 4.G.2 and 5.G.4.
In this lesson students will be introduced to the complementary and supplementary angles. In the Flippable they will identify what each type of angle is as well as use a protractor to create an example and non-example of each angle.
This Flippable is perfect to be used as a mini lesson in an Interactive Notebook. Once completed it can be followed up with the included Complementary and Supplementary Angles Practice Sheet where students will complete the missing information and label the pictorial models correctly.
Answer key is included for the Complementary and Supplementary Angles Practice Sheet and an example on how this was used as part of my Geometry Unit in an Interactive Notebook can be seen in this blog post.
