Included are 8 multiple-choice quizzes, broken up by reading assignment. The final few chapters are covered a bit more heavily in the final assessment which is constructed response.
The multiple-choice quizzes have very basic questions that anyone who has read the book should be able to easily answer without memorizing or heavily studying the material. The final assessment is thought-provoking and gives students a chance to prove their knowledge of the material.
This was written for a social studies class, so the themes of the questions are not exactly what a language arts classroom might ask, yet I still attempted to incorporate textual interpretation into the assignment.
If you're looking for a nice survey of the book or a simple book study, this should work great for you! My chapter reading assignments and corresponding quizzes were over the following:
*Ch 24-30 covered in final, constructed response exam, not in MC quiz format
