Mystery Detective Badges & Avatar Tags

This Complete Math Mystery Tri-Grade Bundle contains all of my math mysteries currently in the range available for Grades 3, 4, and 5!

Make math fun and exciting by adding a mystery twist to your worksheets. Your students will gain lots of math practice, while also developing their critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.

Bonus: Mystery Detective Badges & Fun Avatar Printable Tags added to this pack!

The Tri-Grade Bundle is ideal for differentiation needs

Having three grades is an easy way to differentiate these activities with your students. Between the 3rd - 5th grade packets, if the story title is the same and the clue number is the same, you can swap the pages between the three grade levels to customize the math but not change the mystery.

Please note: Not all story titles are available for all three grades at the same time. For example, some 5th Grade mystery stories are not available in a 3rd and 4th grade version (e.g. Vengeful Vampire). I recommend checking through the items to see what is included in this bundle before purchasing.

These activities are simple to prep, just print and solve! Video hooks are also provided as a fun addition to starting the activity (optional to use).

    Multiple Uses

    - Suitable for independent, pairs, or group work.

    - Use as part of your math centers, add to your sub tubs, make it part of your early finisher tasks, give for homework, or make it part of your classroom practice/review sessions.

I recommend pacing a mystery activity by giving students one clue at a time. Once the whole class has completed a clue, then move on to the next clue either within the same lesson or the next math session. New math content presented? Make a lesson out of it by modeling the math before diving into the clue. I like to say, "we must learn something new before attempting the next clue."
