This 8-page set includes everything you will need to get prepared and stay organized for Parent-Teacher Conferences! I have honed this resource over the years and added to it/subtracted from it/changed it to best help me do what I need to do to communicate clearly and effectively to parents--as well as stay organized during this very stressful and BUSY time of year :) This is a .docx file, not a PDF, because it needs to be editable. You will need to edit it to reflect your name, school name, dates, times, etc. The places that need to be changed are typed in red. However, anything in the text can certainly be changed to reflect your preferences.
Here's what's included:
-a sign-up sheet for parents to read and return to choose a date/time that works for their conference (actually their top 3 choices, as explained in the document)
-a conference confirmation form to send home once the date/time have been finalized
-a parent conference focus form, to tell parents what will be discussed, as well as allowing them to indicate any additional concerns they would like to discuss
-a master scheduling table for you to record your conference dates and times, as well as the parent/guardians' names, so you know who's coming at-a-glance
-a selection of teacher conference focus forms (3 different formats total) that serve to guide you through the conferences, and list different talking points so you can stay focused when discussing the student's progress with each family. There are 3 different formats, so you can find/use the format that works best for you. I have tried to keep the talking points fairly generic, but feel free to alter them to suit your needs.
The key to great conferences is organization and preparedness. This set is an excellent way to accomplish that!
