Having a good planner is essential to keeping yourself and your classroom organized! I have always loved planners that help me to map out my goals and cast a vision for my year, but I want something fun and creative AND useful for a teacher--and this is hard to find! That is why I created this planner!
THIS PURCHASE COMES WITH ANY FUTURE UPDATES AND ADDITIONS FOR FREE! This includes any added resources, updates for future school years, and edits made to this product in the future!
This planner was created as a resource for you to stay organized and energized throughout the school year, so there are a lot of great tools you can choose to use. However, being a teacher comes with unnecessary paperwork, ridiculously tedious meetings, and tons and tons of responsibilities, so I want it said up front: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE EVERY ASPECT OF THIS PLANNER FOR IT TO BE HELPFUL FOR YOU! Pick the parts of the planner that will be helpful to you and your goals, and ignore the rest! The planner is divided into sections:
• The vision: There is a place for you to organize your thoughts and create a vision for you and your students this year. Throughout the planner, there are tools to help you create a plan, take steps to implement your plan, and reevaluate your plans and goals if necessary.
• Yearly/Monthly Calendars: The calendars are there to create a big-picture of what is coming up for you, what goals you might want to set for the month, and big ideas you are going to be focusing on for the month.
• Weekly Planner: This is the “real-life” part of the planner—getting out of simply creating a vision and putting that vision into action in your classroom! There is space here for you to list tasks you need to accomplish, meetings you need to attend, and to plan your lessons for the week. There is also a reflection aimed at helping you kickstart the next week with a clearer focus.
• Reflection Sections: At the end of every month, and at the end of each semester/trimester, it is good to take a few minutes to reflect on how things are going, good things that have happened, and what progress you have made toward your goals.
There are also some helpful resources included to finish out your teacher binder:
--Class Birthday List
--Detailed Sub Plan Template
--Parent Contact Form
--Classroom Expenses Form
--Extra Copy of the Goal Setting Worksheet
--Extra Copy of the Weekly Planning Worksheet
This planner also comes with several cover options for you to choose from.
