This is a fun activity for the student to practice completing the square. The student is given 2 different question paths and 18 rectangles to cut out. The top of the rectangle has the answer to the completing the square question and the bottom of the rectangle contains the answer to the question. The student actually only answers and works 10 questions (assuming that they do them correctly). The rest are just distractors.
On this sheet, there are two types of questions: the first column asks the student to complete the square to rewrite the equation in vertex form. The second column asks the student to complete the square in order to identify the vertex. This activity is intended for the beginner as all questions have "a" as 1 and "b" as an even number.
