This elementary counseling game allows students to practice the art of using kind words. Three sets of picture cards are used to play the game in three stages. The first step practices compliments based on how a "monster" looks. The second step asks students to use kind words based on a positive attribute given to each "monster". In the third step, the "monsters" are given a negative attribute and students need to use encouraging words.
Using kind and encouraging words creates an atmosphere of cooperation and tolerance. When you make another feel good, you feel good too!
