I made this wristband file to use with my Composer of the Month units. You could copy the wristband pages onto copy paper or card stock. The wristbands are extra long so the kids can take them off their wrists over their hands later, whether you fasten the bands with a glue stick or tape. If you find the length to be troublesome, you can always trim a little off one end or the other to adjust.
This file includes:
*Johann Sebastian Bach
*Franz Joseph Haydn
There are spaces after the composer name to fill in the country the composer lived in, as well as their birth and death year. The students can also color the picture of the composer. For each set of wristbands, I have included a page with the composers' name, country, dates, and a color illustration that you can display for your classes if you choose. (Or you can just use it for reference so you don't have to go look up the information!)
These wristbands can be an easy center to throw together if you are looking for just "one more!" All you need are copies of the wristband pages, one copy of the composer display page, glue sticks, pencils and crayons. Put them all together in a basket, and you're good to go!
