In this activity, students will solve 10 problems using composite functions. The composite functions are notated two different ways: f(g(x)) and (fog)(x). When students have solved all of the problems, they will cut them apart and put them in numerical order. Then, their problems can be checked by checking the order of the answers.
This activity can be completed individually or in pairs. Make sure these problems are appropriate for your students - download the preview and look at the thumbnails to see problem examples.
