This center was made to complement First Grade Wit and Wisdom Module 4 but can work in any classroom!
There are 3 parts to this center:
–Sentence Puzzle:
- Match the first half of the sentence with a second half that makes sense!
- There is only one correct answer for each sentence, so make sure that the pieces fit together!
–Sentence starters:
- Choose a sentence starter. Come up with the silliest ending to the sentence that you can!
- Make sure your sentence makes sense with the conjunction used in the starter.
–Writing Sheet
- Record your sentence starter and silly sentence on the sheet! Illustrate your sentence!
- Start all over with a new sentence starter!
