This is a compound sentence identification game. Students play in pairs and take turns drawing a sentence card. After reading their card, they decide if it is a compound sentence or not a compound sentence. The opposing player checks the answer and a point is awarded if they are correct. This is a great self-checking center reinforcement game or a game the teacher can use with small group instruction or remediation.
The game includes directions, 2 play mats, 16 sentence cards, an activity extension idea page, and an answer key.
