Cut cards apart. Shuffle and let students choose one card
each. Students must look for the person who has the other half of their compound word. After finding the person who has the other half of the compound word, the pair stands together. Once all students have found their matches, go around the room and allow each pair of students to share their compound word. This would make a great Literature Center.
