Product Description
These activities are a great way to engage students while teaching them about compound words.

I have, Who has Game
Students love this game and it keeps their attention since they have to listen for their card. The first card starts with, "I have basket, who has ball". Then the student with the ball card will stand up and read their card. There are two sets of these cards. One set only has the picture and one set has the picture and the word.

There are 24 game cards. If you do not have 24 students you can play and give some students two cards.

Task Cards
Students will see two pictures and they will combine them to make a compound word. There are recording sheets provided. Students can either write the compound word or draw a picture of it.
There are 20 words provided.
The cards work great to use during center time or for partner work.
I laminate these cards and hole punch the top left corner. Then I put them on a binder ring so students can easily flip through them.
