Description

Compound word activity for more advanced learners. Use compound words to write four kinds of riddles! Reinforce many language arts skills with a little humor. You can start the lesson by reading Rick Walton's "Once There was a Bull...frog" if you wish, or simply review compound words and read some riddles. Then brainstorm a list with your class and use the lesson plan, handouts and worksheets to help your students learn to write riddles with compound words.
If you don't want to copy the sample riddle handouts for each student, you can use the included PowerPoint instead.
