I created these resources to try to differentiate more in my classroom. I used them as an assessment for understanding compound words and sequencing text. Form A is geared for higher leveled readers and thinkers. Form B is for average students and Form C for low-average students. I was amazed on how well they all worked so independently on this assignment/assessment. As for the lower students I pulled them to my table to work with them on Form C. Mostly we worked on the sequencing part together. Everyone was busy and I found my high students were not done so “quickly” compared to my other students. It was a great challenge for them too!
