Hello! This activity accompanies a Youtube video called “Compras una Chaqueta”
It is a great listening activity for Spanish 1, as the native Spanish speakers talk about clothing items, a soccer game, and use AR verbs, ser, and estar in the present tense.
This activity includes 4 pages, including a review of vocabulary in the video, a space for students to hypothesize what the video is about after watching it once, space for students to write why or why not they believe it is difficult to listen to Spanish speakers, and 8 multiple choice questions about the video.
Although my students thought the video was pretty cheesy, they were all very attentive and interested in hypothesizing and interpreting correctly. It is a great way to get students to hear and start understanding the language in an authentic way!
