This is a powerpoint presentation that has been animated for students to hear and say Spanish words and phrases. First there a sentence in Spanish appears on the slide. The sentence leaves the screen and pictures that represent the Spanish words take the place of the words. The idea is that the students say the Spanish sentence back as the picture representations enter the screen.
There are questions that follow the short presentation and the final slide flashes pictures from the powerpoint to review the Spanish words they represented in the story.
I have the timing of the slides rehearsed, so once the slide show starts, it runs through itself in about 8 minutes.
My students seem to really like the challenge, because the pace is not to slow but not too fast and it really keeps them focused. We usually run through it twice and the second time is much smoother!
