A 3⁄4 Ballad with thoughtful pauses and releases and a rise and fall throughout the bridge.
These charts are written from the perspective of a working jazz musician, initially intended for a jazz quartet or quintet with saxophones and/or trumpet with rhythm section. All efforts have been made to present the information cleanly and efficiently, reducing extra page turns. As with common lead sheet formats, a knowledge of chord symbol interpretations is required. Bass players will most often use the concert treble clef charts, but parts requiring written bass sections (such as ostinatos) have been written in bass clef.
