Product Description
Looking for a fun way to get kids to practice story comprehension? This is an interactive story wheel that can be used independently for grades K-2.

Students read or listen to a story. When they are finished they spin the story wheel and practice answering the comprehension questions. There are picture prompts for each question, so even younger students can do this independently.

Can be used for:
Independent Reading
Small Groups
Guided Reading Groups
Whole Group

This is also a fantastic tool that can be sent home for extra practice!

Print and laminate story wheel for each child, or each small group. You can either purchase a game spinner from a local Parent/Teacher store, or students can use a pencil and paper clip as the spinner.

How to use the pencil and paperclip:
1. Put the pencil through the large middle section of the paperclip.
2. Place in middle of story wheel.
3. Use finger to flick paperclip around the story wheel board. It will be help in place by the pencil.
4. Wherever the paperclip lands, that is the question students answer.

This is a wonderful resource that can be used over and over again in the classroom!
