This product was created to accompany Rumer Godden's The Mousewife: a tale of an unlikely friendship between a mouse and a dove.
This test is approximately 18 questions. The first 10 are multiple choice and reflect the following comprehension skills: cause and effect, making inferences, summarizing, using context clues, sequencing, and more. There are 5 short answer that require students to identify the them, characterize the characters, and more. The last four questions reflect verbal reasoning and require students to fill in analogies based on the text.
This test is engaging and user-friendly. Your students will be given the opportunity to identify page numbers where they found answers and select "book or head" to indicate where they found the answer. You may deem this portion "optional" if you choose.
I've included a complete answer key for your convenience.
