This activity allows students to compare and contrast the key compromises made at the U.S. Constitutional Convention including the Great Compromise, the Three-Fifth Compromises, and the Electoral College.
This activity can be utilized in a variety of ways, depending on your teaching style and lesson planning needs:
1) It can be used as a graphic organizer for note-taking for a lecture or discussion.
2) It can be completed by students or groups of students as a hands-on research activity and then utilized as a discussion prompt.
3) It can be assigned as homework to help students prep their content knowledge before doing a more hands-on in depth activity.
4) As a review activity.
Best wishes and happy teaching!
