Computer Graphics Symmetrical Mask for 3rd to 9th Grade
Computer Graphics Symmetrical mask is a fun and engaging way to learn the graphics portion of MS Word. This lessons is actually a lesson to introduce computer graphics in not only the art class, but is adaptable to most subject areas. The extension for 5th to 9th grade has the students use traditional techniques to make a relief sculpture out of the mask. The symmetrical design lesson uses MS Word’s drawing capabilities. This seldom used area of MS Word is quite powerful and valuable. The students will learn several beginning aspects of drawing on a computer. The areas learned are shape, shape format, shape fill, copy, paste, flip and rotate.
