This game is played just like any other concentration game. Some or all of the cards may be used depending on the level of the students playing. Place cards face down on table or playing surface. The first player turns over two cards. One card must be a multiplication sentence and the other card must be a product or answer to a multiplication sentence. The player reads the multiplication sentence out loud and gives an answer. They determine whether they have a match or not. To get a match, the player must have the multiplication sentence and the product of that multiplication sentence. For example, the player turns over 7 x 7 and 49. This is a match because 7 x 7 is 49. If the player turns over anything else, the player does not have a match. The player either takes the two cards if they have a match, or turns over the cards in the same space if they don't have a match. This game is good for centers as it does not require much direction from the adult in charge. This game is good for practicing multiplication with and without regrouping.
