PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This bundle of worksheets is sure to help your students learn to compare decimals up to the thousandths!

Begin by teaching students that to compare decimals, we always match up the same amount of place values- these worksheets are a great tool to use to show the comparison of decimals with different place values.
Once students match up both numbers with the same amount of digits, tell them to "throw" that decimal off and see which number looks bigger!
Example for your board: 2.3 compared to 2.20. Match up both numbers to the hundredths: 2.30 and 2.20. Throw your decimal off- 230 and 220. Now, would the alligator rather have 230 pounds of food or 220 pounds of food? :)

Students can use these as homework or in class work- it is a great review for the concept before the PARCC as well!

**Edit- thank you for all of your emails! Wow! So much positivity! I am working on making other bundles similar to this one!
