In this activity, students are presented with a conditional statement along with its converse, inverse, and contrapositive in no particular order. They then choose one of the related conditionals to write down. After giving them some think time, they stand up and go to the sign they think their statement belongs with (converse, inverse, or contrapositive). Once there, they get the chance to discuss with their group if they are in the correct spot. After all groups agree, present the answer slide to show students if they really are in the right spot!
This activity is stellar for when you first introduce conditional statements, when you review them the next day, or just when you want to get students out of their seats during your logic unit. Enjoy!
