This SMART notebook presentation teaches the 3 forms of heat transfer- conduction, convection, and radiation. It begins by discussing the differences between solid, liquid, and gas, which is necessary to understand heat transfer. It provides examples of each type of heat transfer and gives students an opportunity to practice differentiating the 3 types. This interactive lesson also includes a student notes page assessment on the smartboard.
If your students already understand the difference between solid, liquid, and gas, and you want to challenge them, then check out the high school version in my store. It is similar but has students use more critical thinking skills and look at more real-world examples.
