The author uses pictures to take you to the Confederate capital city of Richmond, VA during the Civil War era. After the election of Lincoln, the states that seceded formed the Confederate States of America. This presentation includes a map of the USA and the CSA. It introduces President Jefferson Davis and shows pictures of the White House of the Confederacy and of Old Richmond, VA, as it was during the Civil War. There are also pictures of the Tredegar Iron Works factory which was converted to a factory to make weapons for the war effort. Also pictured is the famous Monument Avenue with monuments honoring Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, JEB Stuart, and Jefferson Davis. The final slides show what happened to Jefferson Davis at the end of the war and then show pictures of Hollywood Cemetery where he is buried. It also shows the pyramid monument to commemorate the soldiers of the Confederacy.
