Conflict Escalator Activity Pages

Description
Conflict is an inevitable part of life, so having healthy strategies for dealing with it is crucial. The concept of the Conflict Escalator is from the book Teaching Conflict Resolution Through Children’s Literature by William J. Kreidler.
Included are four pages that may be used separately or as a unit. You will use these for YEARS (I'm going on my 15th with them)!
-a completed Conflict Escalator T-Chart listing common actions that escalate or de-escalate a conflict
-a blank Conflict Escalator T-Chart to be filled in after students have read a story of your choosing (several suggestions included)
-a Conflict Escalator Reflection sheet for students to complete following a conflict with a peer. This sheet requires them to consider their own part in the conflict as well as what they could have done to de-escalate the problem.
-a Conflict Escalator Comic page---a fun way for kids to think about how a scenario might end.
