This 5+ day unit covers the important topic of Conflict Minerals. Students begin with viewing and reflecting to a TED-ED video. Then, students complete a webquest to learn about the issue, what other organizations are doing to help, and what students can do to hep. Lastly, students create an infographic for their fellow peers. This activity is very effective with my students--they have no idea that their cell phones are funding a genocide in the Congo!
