Occasional angry feelings you get with friends is discussed and normalized, with emphasis on it's bound to happen as we all have different brains. The need to solve conflicts with appropriate reactions and feelings is also mentioned. The fact that behaviors are NOT people, rather they are just behaviors along with the concept of empathy helps to diffuse strong feelings. Relaxation and active listening are taught as helpful strategies. Specific conflict resolution steps are provided, along with a checklist. Additionally, 3 games are provided along with several great teaching resources I use on a regular basis.
