This excellent primary source analysis activity features excerpts from Confucius' famous Analects.

The first page includes a variety of excerpts from the Analects of Confucius that deal with filial piety, government, virtue, family, and learning.

The worksheet pages features open-ended analysis questions intended to get your students thinking critically about the primary source and create good opportunities for class discussion. An answer key for this is included for your convenience.

This download includes both printable and Google Docs versions of the activity! If you're in a paperless classroom or just want to integrate more digital resources, you can use the provided link to bring this resource into Google Classroom!
