Working on using triangle congruence postulates with your geometry students (in-class or with distance learning)? This bundle includes 4 different activities to help your students learn about SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS, and HL and determine if two triangles are congruent.
Start with the printable study guide in this bundle! It's great for whole-class instruction or students can scan the QR code and fill it out on their own by following along with my free online lesson. The study guide includes SSS, SAS, ASA, and AAS with lots of great examples. It also looks at why AAA and SSA are not congruence postulates.
There are also 3 activities included to help your students practice proving two triangles are congruent. There's a set of digital, self-checking Boom Cards. There's also a digital activity designed in Google Forms that's editable and graded automatically.
Boom Cards and Google Drive activities are great for e-learning or in person! Students LOVE getting immediate feedback on their answers and teachers love spending less time grading! Check out the links in the preview of the Boom Cards for more information on how they work and how to get started using them in your classroom. The downloads for the Google Forms activity also includes detailed instructions on how to use the activity.
Last, there's a fun speed dating group activity that gets students up and moving as they practice. The three activities include HL and students must also be able to identify shared sides and vertical angles to prove triangles are congruent.
The following activities are included in this bundle:
- Congruent Triangles Study Guide
- Congruent Triangles Boom Cards (includes HL)
- Congruent Triangles Activity for Google Drive (includes HL)
- Congruent Triangles Speed Dating Activity (includes HL)
