This one-minute activity is set up to do twice. Kids love it. It is similar to the 1-minute multiplication facts races that we all remember except this is identifying the basic types of congruent triangles. SAS, SSS, AAS, ASA are represented as well as some SSAs which would earn a "No" answer since SSA does not prove triangle congruence. There are no right triangles and none marked differently to trip kids up. This is designed to be fun and easy enough that they can feel successful. Homework passes are included as a winning prize for the best finishers. The triangles are hand-drawn, simply because life is too short to make 48x2=96 triangles with arcs and ticks with frustrating technology. I used a stencil though so it is passably attractive.
