Included are THIRTY-SIX task cards, divided into three sets of twelve. The first twelve cards (RED) focus on coordinating conjunctions. The second twelve cards (GREEN) focus on correlative conjunctions. The last twelve cards (GRAY) direct students to write their own sentences using both coordinating and correlative conjunctions.
There are four different answer recording sheets. The first sheet allows students to record their answers to all thirty-six task cards. The following three sheets break the task cards up into sets: coordinating conjunctions, correlative conjunctions, and writing sentences using conjunctions.
These task cards can be used in a number of ways. Play “Scoot” or use the task cards in centers. Practicing with these task cards will help students identify conjunctions in sentences and write sentences of their own using conjunctions.
