This product was created with the Connect Four concept in mind. In order to win, one must connect four of the same color squares in a row either diagonally, vertically or horizontally.
The game was created to review the conjugations of AR, ER and IR verbs in the present tense. I have included one game reviewing each verb ending in isolation and one game review them all.
Whole class activity - You can project a game on a projector/whiteboard and divide the class into teams. Each team has a different colored marker to fill in their answer. One student from each team takes a turn to fill in a square. Teacher checks answers and directs the next team to proceed.
Paired Activity – Print one chart for each pair of students. Encourage each student to use a different colored pen to complete chart. Once a student has completed four in a row correctly, they have won the game. Give them game two.
