Game board (1 per pair)
6 sided die (1 per pair)
Markers to cover words (coins, chips, unifix cubes, paper scraps, or dry erase markers if game board is laminated)
Player A rolls the die
Player A may choose any open word underneath the number that is rolled
Example: Player A rolls a “5” he or she must select a word underneath the “5” column
Player A must correctly read the word chosen. Player A may have two attempts to read the word correctly.
Player B rolls the die and does exactly as Player A did.
If a player rolls a “6” he or she may erase (or take a chip off) one of his or her opponents.
If there are no open spots in the numbered column, the player loses a turn.
Play continues until a player gets four in a row (vertical, horizontal or diagonal)
There are four game boards for differentiation.
