We live on a planet that is rich in complexity. So, the journey to discover the myriad connections that fill it can be a magnificent adventure. The concept extends itself with more layered and complex data for older kids.
We have a chance to understand how intimately the world is interconnected and how our actions have consequences that need not be seen in our ecological vicinity. Instead of portraying each natural cycle in isolation, I show the balances and relationships that exist in an ecosystem and how humankind is changing these equations. A change in one cycle impacts another and the biosphere reacts to each change.
The idea is not to overwhelm the kids with complexity but to hint at the connections visually in a non-intimidating way. Every child should be ecologically aware and this graphical aid might be the best place to start.
It is currently designed for print (24"* 36") poster but can be scaled to any display size if you contact me.
