Product Description
This lesson is a great "opener" for my 11th grade Government class. I ask students who various celebrities are and how they impact their lives. Kids participate openly and get used to an interactive class environment off the bat. Then I ask students who their elected leaders are, and many are surprised with how little they know about people who impact them so much.Educators could easily switch out images of the specific politicians in their area. This gets a conversation going about elected officials and how government effects students' lives.
