This product contains 20 connotation QR Code Task Cards. Students will answer questions to determine if words have a positive or negative connotation and to identify a feeling associated with words in context. Students can answer on the included tracker sheet and scan the QR code on each card to check the answers. You can also review with the included PowerPoint file, if you wish. There is also an answer key.

It is recommended you print the cards on a heavy card stock for durability. Also, be sure to check the settings of your printer before printing. It is best to print the file in landscape orientation.
If you are unable to use the QR codes, students can still answer on the tracker sheet and you can review the answers using the included PowerPoint file and/or included answer key.
This product is suitable for grades 6-8 and aligns with Common Core language strand, standard 5.
The zipped file you will download includes a PDF of the task cards and a PowerPoint file you can use to review with your students.
