Product Description
Two worksheets are included, each with ten sentences. Students choose the word with the more positive or more negative connotation and rewrite the sentence using that word. Positive connotations are on one worksheet, negative connotations are on the second.
Example:
That man is a (chef, cook) at the new restaurant on Main Street.

Each page includes an EXTRA TIME activity for those students who complete the page ahead of others. Answers are included.
