PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

For this debate, students will be divided into one of five different groups:
1.) Initial Ingredient Nations (Aboriginal Peoples)
2.) Vegetable Village (English Canadians)
3.) Poutine Plains (French Canadians)
4.) Stir Fry Island (Immigrants)
5.) Barley Barns (Farmers)
Each group represents a certain group in Canada that each had different stances on the implementation of Conscription during WWI.
"Stew State and its colonizer of Soup Land have decided to enter a war overseas. You as a group will decide why or why not you want to support conscription. Formulate your ideas into the worksheet provided. Each group must delegate a recorder/secretary and one defendant to plead their case."
