This set of 24 consonant digraph riddle activities will help your students as they practice words that begin with ch-, sh-, th-, and wh-, and will expand your students' vocabulary, too!

The set includes activities for both whole class and small group/center use:

* 24 riddle cards with coordinating answer cards

* A Read the Room recording sheet and answer key

* A list of all of the words, to use as an “extra support” page for the Read the Room activity

* A Consonant Digraph Four-in-a-Row Game for additional practice with partners or in literacy centers

As you solve riddles with your class, it's a great opportunity to model identifying key details, inferring, and drawing conclusions, comprehension skills that they'll apply as they read across the curriculum.

For distance learning, display a riddle card to capture your students attention at the beginning of an online lesson!

Please see the preview for a list of the words that are included in this set.
