In this 30-slide powerpoint, students practice reading words with digraphs "sh", "ck", "ch", "wh", "th", and "ph." Students go at their own pace by using the mouse or space bar to click through.
On the first click, the word will appear by itself. On a second click, a picture or animation appears as well as a red line underlining the digraph in the word. This is great for differentiation in your classroom because if students have trouble reading the words, 1 click gives them an underlined digraph as well as a picture clue to help them figure out the word.
Words include ship, chair, sock, phone, whale, and thorn. There are 2-5 slides for each consonant digraph.
Kids will love going through this Powerpoint to practice reading words with digraphs- it's easy for them to use independently, and the animations and pictures are fun!
Great to use as a literacy/ reading/ word work/ spelling station! Also a great thing to send early finishers to do to get that extra practice!
